Hi, everyone. My name is Arven and I'm a Pokémon trainer from Paldea. Seeing as this place has a lot of Pokémon, I thought I'd offer you some nutrition advice. I'll say that I'm not a qualified expert, but I have done my fair share of food research.

[For reasons he won't get into. Next to him is his trusty partner Mabosstiff who seems to be enjoying a sandwich Arven made him.]

All Pokémon have their own favorite type of food. Usually, they're categorized into sweet, spicy, bitter, sour and salty. Even among the same Pokémon species they might enjoy different kind of food.

My Mabosstiff here enjoys more salty and savory than sweet food.

[He pets Mabosstiff gently and the Pokémon barks contently.]

It's worth testing different kind of food with them, as the Pokémon tend to become more friendly the more food they like you give them. Some Pokémon even evolve because of how friendly they are towards you.

Of course the Pokémon food and treats Riki's Shop gives out is fine, but everyone deserves a little variety, right?

[Is that a hint of a smile? It's a little smile. He might take a while to actually properly open up to smile in general.]

Hi.

I realize that it's been a couple of months since I've been here, based on the date I've seen on calendars.

Seems like I "left".

I know it's common to leave, return to your home world and come back, right?

But the thing is that the freshest memory isn't of my home world. In fact, I don't recall going back at all. That's not normal, is it?

Anyway, I wanted to also apologize -- I was the one who suggested making a community for those who were technologically inclined, but then disappeared.

I don't know if anyone who's still here recognizes this username at all, but for those who don't: I'm Inaba, a normal girl who's just graduated high school and has some expertise in computers, so if you ever need any help on the technology front, I can assist a little.

Also, if anyone can give me a 6 month recap, please do.

[this post took him a lot longer than it should have and he still only makes it text (for good reason, really). he's not trying to (literally) show his face to everyone just yet, so he'll make sure to keep himself on the down-low for now, even if it means asking the network for help on some things.

I'm only just learning about our new powers, which I have questions about, but my main question is: how many animal forms can we have? I've changed three times already and it's all been different.

Some of them have only been half-transformations, too. Is that normal?

Any help would be appreciated.

New potions at Riki's available!

First of all, this is an unpaid advertisement: you should absolutely get the potion that lets you turn into a dragon - speaking from experience, I cannot recommend this enough. Getting to be a dragon is very fun and hot and everyone should try it at least once.

Second of all, the Potion of Newly Imagined Powers. One per customer, and it doesn't work if you've already used the potion that gets you old powers from a different world back, but you get to pick a power you decide on. (Within limits, I already asked about using it to travel between worlds, sorry guys.) That's incredible, but also, how do you ever decide on just one power? Like there's a million things I'd love to be able to do, how am I supposed to pick?

What would you choose, if you were going to buy one?

Behind him is the beat-up old shed he lives in, of course... and a pile of junk. Literal junk, complete with chunks of old plastic, some heaps of scrap metal, and an empty bottle or two rolling out of it.]

Got me a new business permit, so I gotta project I wanna start workin' on, start buildin' up my ol' business again... so, long story short:

Keep the food waste 'n shit - I just want the recyclable stuff. Metal, glass, plastic, wood, paper, in that order, but metal's top priority. Cans especially. I'll take it all off your hands, no questions asked.
I'd appreciate it if you wash it off first, 'course, but I won't fuss if ya don't. I get it.

I'll pay for any broken electronics, too! Not a whole lot, I ain't rich, but it'll at least be enough to get yourself a bite to eat or somethin'.

I ain't got a buildin' picked out for all this just yet... I liked the old one, but it ain't big enough for my plans. So address is just here in Amberfall for now - I'll tack that on at the end o' the post, here.

[Hey all, it's the loud cat girl. Only this time she's not in her fancy ass pink dress, with black body suit underneath. She's just in a t-shirt that has a graffiti art of what is possibly a cat on a skateboard which shows off one important thing about her.

The fact her joints resemble those of a ball jointed doll then anything organic.]

Hello again! I have a question to see if anyone else has this problem, and uh... I don't want to go back into the Underground Mall again for this but.

... Is there anyone around here who can make clothing for a doll? With a tail, too. This shirt and the hoodie I picked up are good except the sleeves of the hoodie get caught in my joints sometimes but I need more than that? Also my dress should probably get repaired too.

I don't have tons of money right now, but I could pay you back with favors or just um, instalments?

My seasons is spring water, apparently. I have visited the Spring Guild, but everything is very overwhelming.

[This time's video comes from the Mecha Hangar in the Research Center. Asami is looking a bit nervous.]

We have a bit of a situation here.

[She moves the camera to show a huge dragon with black and red colored scales, and red-black wings inside the mecha hangar. A very H U G E one that doesn't look like he will fit from the hangar launch pads. Nor does he look like he's even trying.]

We're pretty sure it's not one of the native ones. They rarely come to the city if they're this size, so...

[Well, her only option really is.]

Has anyone lost a dragon?

[It's really hard to work when there's a big dragon in the middle of your workspace.]


[OOC: This is Daenerys' ([personal profile] thequeenofdragons) dragon that just returned from a canon update (animal companions/familiars can canon update while their owner doesn't if players want them to do that) and since he didn't fit inside the Research Center lobby, Mecha Hangar was the only option.

I'm... [Get it together.] My name is-- is Raphael, I arrived in these lands a few days ago.

[He's never been so up-front about who he is around mortals before. He looks very nervous, but also more than a little thrilled. It's a very confusing mix of emotions to process through.]

Though we don't hail from the same world, I am more than proud to claim Lucifer Morningstar as my eldest brother. I hear he does good work here.

[So. Here's that green-haired, freckled teen that his loud bff was going on about. Izuku sits cross-legged on the bed in his bedroom of his newly provided apartment that he has yet to decorate or anything to personalize the space. He looks a little sheepish as he checks if it seems to be working. He's used to something similar, having this sort of technology back home, at least.]

Um. Hi? I'm Midoriya. That is, uh, Midoriya Izuku. I guess a lot of you already kind of know of me from Kacchan earlier...

[He's sorry. Really. It isn't like he asked Bakugo to go off like that.]

I was just trying to get my bearings, I guess. I heard there's school, or at least classes, here. To learn about our new abilities? I think I'd like that. I want to learn to use mine. To at least learn how to control it. If not to help out with it, and my Quirk. Plus, I want to look into prosthetics to help Kacchan. Maybe learn more about music....? I'm sure there's probably a library or something I can check! And I want to be useful and help out, maybe figure out a part-time job?

[......Yeah. That talk that he had with Bakugo about not overdoing it. Izuku might already be wanting to do more than he might realistically be able to manage. Because he's a Nerd and actually wants to Learn about this place and the abilities, and wants to help out as much as he can. This kid is just not used to the idea of not keeping busy, not being useful. Still in that habit of feeling like he has to prove himself.]

Also, also! What jobs do you do, nanoka? Trying to find a job at a maid cafe hasn't been working because of my age, nanoda. I'll probably go back to my street performances, but I'm curious about everyone else, nanoda.
